RipNews.lk என்ற தளம் சமூக சேவையை முக்கிய நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டு உருவாக்கப்பட்டது.
இறப்பு அறிவிப்புகள் மற்றும் நினைவு அறிவிப்புகளை குடும்பத்தினர் மரியாதையுடன் மற்றும் எளிதாக பகிரக்கூடிய ஒரு நம்பகமான டிஜிட்டல் தளத்தை வழங்குவதே இந்த முயற்சியின் அடிப்படை நோக்கம்.
ஆரம்பத்தில் இந்த சேவைகள் முழுமையாக இலவச சமூக சேவையாகத் தொடங்கப்பட்டன.
